Applying to join HDMAC

Dear Prospective Member

Membership of the Huddersfield and District Model Aircraft Club is open to anyone with an interest in the design, building and flying of model aircraft of any type.

Upon joining HDMAC you will be issued with the following :-

A Club Membership Card.

A handbook containing the club constitution and rules covering conduct and the safe operation at flying sites

A pocket booklet listing details of flying sites and frequencies.

A plastic transmitter plaque engraved with your own name, to clip onto the frequency control pegboard when flying in exchange for the frequency clip. No-one is allowed to fly without this.

Please allow approx. 14 days to cover processing and engraving etc.The Huddersfield & District MAC is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA) and all active members of HDMAC must be BMFA members in order that they and the Club are covered by the BMFA Third Party Insurance scheme.

BMFA membership is included in the total HDMAC subscription (unless the applicant is already a BMFA member).
